Nem tudo é alegria. Ontem tuma péssima noticia chegou para mim e diversos veiculos de comunicação: Richard Wright.

Ele já vinha batalhando contra o cancêr e morreu aos 65 anos.

David Gilmour em seu blog escreveu algumas linhas em homenagem:

I’m so sorry to break the sad news that Richard has passed away after a battle with cancer.

I really don’t know what to say other than that he was such a lovely, gentle, genuine man and will be missed terribly by so many who loved him.

And that’s a lot of people. Did he not get the loudest, longest round of applause at the end of every show in 2006?

Para mim, Wrightr era (e ainda é) gênial. Meu álbum preferido é o Dark Side of the Moon, que ate escrevi sobre para o Fudeu. (O afonso bem putinho apagou o post)
